New Utility Accounts (Effective October 1, 2025)
Beginning October 1, 2025, ambulance membership will automatically be included on all new utility accounts. Customers who wish to opt out must contact Ken-Tenn EMS directly. City Hall cannot remove the membership from an account until we receive verification from Ken-Tenn EMS that the membership has been canceled.
Please note that the ambulance membership fee cannot be removed from a bill that has already been processed for the current billing cycle. If you wish to discontinue the membership, you must:
- Pay the current month’s bill, including the membership fee.
- Complete and sign a refusal form with Ken-Tenn EMS.
Once these steps have been completed, the membership will be removed beginning with the next billing cycle and will remain off future bills unless you request to re-enroll or the utility account is closed.
