When is my bill due?
Please pay your bill by the due date listed on your statement to avoid late fees.
Why did my bill increase?
A higher bill may be caused by:
Increased water or gas usage
Seasonal weather changes
Water leaks
Running toilets or dripping faucets
Additional household members
Filling a pool or watering your lawn
How is my water bill calculated?
Your bill is based on the amount of water registered by your water meter during the billing period.
How is my gas bill calculated?
Gas usage is measured by your gas meter and billed according to the City’s current rates.
Is Your Water Bill Higher Than Normal?
A sudden increase in your bill is often caused by a leak.
Check these common areas:
Running toilets
Dripping faucets
Outdoor spigots
Water hoses
Irrigation systems
Water heaters
Under sinks
Crawl spaces
Easy Leak Test
Turn off all water inside your home. If your water meter continues to move, you may have a leak.
What should I do?
Repair the leak as soon as possible.
Monitor your next bill.
Contact City Hall if you have questions about your usage.
Finding leaks early can save hundreds of gallons of water and lower your utility bill.
