OCTOBER 6th, 2025 will be the BULK PICKUP FOR CITY RESIDENTS ONLY

**Republic services will provide the city of Hickman residents (inside city limits) with bulk pick up on Monday October 6, 2025. Please have all items out the night before. It may take a couple of days to complete the process. Items suitable for pickup will be household items such as: furniture, couches, mattresses, dressers, and appliances that do not contain freon.

*Brush, shrubs, trees, household chemicals, hazardous wastes, propane tanks, pool chemicals, fluorescent or mercury bulbs will not be accepted.*

To ensure all items are picked up safely and efficiently, republic services asks that all items be placed at the curb away from fixed objects such as parked cars, mailboxes, shrubs, poles and fences. Please take special care to keep out from utility and power lines. Please do not set out prior to October 5^th.  Thank you!

Items set out AFTER the 6th will not be picked up

Billed and mailed out on the last working day of the month.
Bill payment due by the 10th of the month

Late charges will be applied on the 11th (10% penalty)
Any payment made after 4:30 on the 22nd of the month will be charged an additional $40.00 per service and will be regarded as delinquent and put on the cutoff list for disconnection on the 23rd. This includes payments left in the night drop box after 4:30 pm on the 22nd. (We are not responsible for cash left in night drop box)

DISCONNECT FEE $20.00 /RECONNECT FEE $20.00 PER SERVICE (GAS/WATER) ($40 FOR 1, $80 FOR BOTH)
IF YOU ARE CUT OFF YOU WILL HAVE TO BE HOME TO HAVE SERVICES TURNED BACK ON.

• Bills are mailed out by and no later than the last working day of the month. Please consider that holidays occurring during the last 7 days of the month can delay the mailing process.
• Customers are encouraged to utilize the bank draft service. They will still receive a bill in the mail for their record and the payment will automatically come out of their account on the 8^th of each month. If the 8^th falls on the weekend, the payment will come out on the Friday before (6^th or 7^th).
• Customers are encouraged to call City Hall if they are concerned about their bill amount. We are able to tell them about their balance on the last working day of the month, and they will be able to start paying on the 1^st of the month that the bill is due.
• Customers may pay with the following options:

1. 1. Click Pay Online above to go to our online payment portal with a card
   2. Pay over the phone via our IVR system (270) 616-0120 with a card.
   3. By check- in person, by mail, left in night drop
   4. By cash- in person, by mail (not encouraged), left in night drop (we are not responsible for cash left in night drop)
   5. Bank Draft – comes out of bank account on the 8^th of the month (see above).

• Credit card payments will have a base service charge of $2.50 up to a $50.00 payment and 2.8% over $50.00.
